Legislation has driven the need for high quality air sampling and analytical services. IHM Marine Surveys has responded by extending its services to carry out air sampling and analysis. The service is designed to be cost effective for clients while maintaining integrity in the results.
All asbestos air sampling and analysis conducted by IHM Marine Surveys is covered by our testing accreditation in accordance with International standard ISO 17025, with all testing staff holding the minimum P403 & P404 certificates from BOHS (British Occupational Hygiene Society). All testing is conducted in accordance with Health and Safety Executive Asbestos: The Analysts Guide for sampling analysis and clearance procedures (HSG 248) & documented in-house Procedures.

Emergency Analysis Available
In cases where asbestos testing results are required immediately, the laboratory can dispatch a mobile Laboratory to collect and analyse samples on site. Our structure is such that we can also perform immediate analysis on filters the moment they are delivered to our asbestos testing laboratory.
